ASTON SHOWTIME (owned/bred by Mrs Jeanie Burd) is a magnificent thoroughbred x stallion (NTR) who is a perfect gentleman with wonderful elevated paces and a marvellous temperament. He is an asset to anyone who wishes to breed quality show or competition stock.
He is from a distinguished line of top class horses and ponies who excelled in every sphere, being by the same sire as Catherston Humbug, (shortlisted for Sydney Olympics Dressage), Golden Shoes, (showjumping Grade B at 5 yrs), Lovliboi, (Champion Hack), Libretto, (Champion Small Hunter), etc. Showtime is out of the same dam as the twice Champion Riding Horse at H.O.Y.S., Bennochy Fairtime of Aston, Aston Double Classic of Bennochy, (Champion Intermediate), and Aston Hightime, (Champion 143cms S.H.P.).
He is the sire of HOYS qualifiers and his progeny are competing successfully in various disciplines including dressage. He is the sire of Garthstone High Society and Warleigh Eclipse, (and among others, “April” (x Summertime), “Brian” (x Ramora Bay), “Lulu” (x Cleo), “Mavis” (x Cleo) and “Poppy”!)
Latest news - Aston Showtime’s son, Burrswood Kismet, won the Peekaboo In Hand Hack/Riding Horse and was Reserve Champion at the Ponies UK Summer Championships 2011. He also won the Novice ISRT and took the Championship, as well as being placed in all his other classes. Congratulations and well done to his owners Yvonne and Charlotte Siddall.
